Working along with our advent calendar, last night was ‘Watch a Christmas movie and make root beer floats’. Problem. I detest root beer, as does several others in the family. So I thought about it and decided that we would have Grinchy punch instead.
Unable to find my punch bowl since the remodel, I had to improvise. I grabbed my wash tub, gave it a good cleaning and made the punch.
The punch is super simple and you can change it up to whatever your family enjoys.
I took a carton of green fruit punch. Several scoops of lime sherbet, lemon lime soda or ginger ale.
For a fun bonus, I added a maraschino cherry. This was the Grinch’s heart that was 3 times to small.
We all piled up together. Blankets, twinkle lights all aglow and enjoyed a rather silly Christmas movie together. No, it wasn’t the grinch. We already watched that. 🙂
