I was contacted a week or two ago and asked to make a cowgirl costume for a little lady turning 3. She is having a cowgirl party and needed an outfit to go with it.
I took a pair of jeans and made cut them the length that I needed for the skirt. I sewed them together and then added a fringe edging of *cow* material, some rick rack and a little pocket on the back.
The vest has a *cow* fabric ruffle with rickrack and a hand stitched cow. 🙂
It was an interesting request, but I am pleased with the outcome. Best of all, when the little one received the outfit and her Mama asked her what she thought, she said… “I LOVE IT!”
Yeah. 🙂
I surprised myself with this one, pleasantly surprised.

So cute! Ironically enough, I've been stitching cows today too! Working on a homestead wall hanging. Love it!
