My first project out of the fabrics I pictured yesterday is…
My skirt of many colors
It is difficult to get a good picture of the drape of this skirt. I would love to have put it on and went outside and spun around for a picture… but today we have snow. Yep, snow again in Georgia.
Puts a little damper on my barefoot dream I have of myself in this comfy skirt. 🙂
BUT! When I do get to wear the skirt. What fun that will be.
It is cut on the bias, a new thing for me. It is jersey, another new thing for me.
After all is said and done, I really love the skirt and I hope to not be too afraid to work in jersey again.

love your skirt Chas! I stopped wearing them b/c I wear these ugly shoes now for my feet…but some skirts (like this one!) are still inspiring and make me want to change my mind and not care if my shoes make me look like a bag lady! (no offense meant to bag ladies who read blogs)

Cute! I wish I had time to get back into sewing. My days are so full, by 8pm I AM EXHAUSTED!
Snow in GA! They forcast 1/2" of slush for us, but we got 2" of snow.
