After all the sickness our family went through last week, Shannon and I decided we needed a quiet day at home to make sure we were all on the mend… we definitely did not want any set-backs, especially Carlie Jean who was terribly ill. So yesterday we had a day of games, rest and family.
I believe it was just what Dr. Mom ordered. 🙂
Later on in the day, I declared that I was going to let Cameo make supper for us while I supervise. You have to know that I am a bit of a control freak. 🙁 I REALLY want to let go and I am… but sometimes I have to DECLARE that I am going to do it… and then actually do it. 🙂
Cameo made the most wonderful calzones for supper with my under my supervision. We honed in on key words and cooking terms like…

It was a GRAND time. I will have to make myself let go a lot more.
