Last night after a spur of the moment decision after church, the children and I decided to go to Chattanooga to see a little subdivision that has really put on a spectacular display! Sometimes you just have to do… you know. Just go! No planning, just doing. And it was WELL worth the go.
It was such a small little subdivision, but boy did they pack a punch. The lights and decorations were just gorgeous! I was wowed!
I still have our little outing next week planned where I will pack a thermos of cocoa and coffee and some clip-boards with a Christmas light scavenger hunt on it, and we will wear our Christmassy pjs. I love Christmastime… As if you didn’t already know. 😉
There was even a little place you could pull over and get out and take pictures and walk around a little gazebo area.
The nativity was beautiful. On the opposite side of the covered pool. I love the star!
Only three of the kids ventured outside the car with me. Cameo and Houston stayed in, it was pretty cold.
We followed my sister and her family up there. Little Deacon was so cute.
And afterwards, a trip to Krispy Kreme for some Christmassy doughnuts!
What a FUN trip!
Take a little time and make sure to make some memories! And if you are near a Krispy Kreme… try the melted snowman doughnut. It was fab!
