This year I just want to make things merry as much as possible. I may say that every year, ahem… but it is true. I’ve hung a few extra strands of twinkle lights, because you can never have too many twinkle lights.
Sigh.
So true.
It makes everything more lovely.
In the late evenings when I can keep my eyes open, I have been watching “The Great British Bake Off” and working on another Unicorn blanket for an order. I’m eagerly anticipating 3 shirt orders to make it here any time… I can’t believe how quickly the Christmas rush came and how it changed the shipping from the wholesaler. Before I would have an order in a couple days. It’s been almost a week now. (Grant it, Thanksgiving was part of that week… and Black Friday, and Shop Small Saturday, and Cyber Monday)… ack… no wonder it’s a little later than normal.
Our Advent wreath is such a happy spot on my table. I plan on getting some of the traditional colors of candles to add, but until then, I have our beeswax candles.
And if all the indoor twinkle lights weren’t enough!!! We added outdoor lights this year! Not a ton, but I was soo excited! Here in this picture, Shannon and the boys are hanging them for me. I love driving home in the evening and seeing their light. Yay!
