There is a local family that we met through our new homeschool co-op. They have been putting on this little get-together called “Old Timer’s Day” for several years now. This was the first time we had heard about it, and our first year to participate.
It was a lot of fun, although it was a hot day.

They had several activities the kids could try.
There was a beautiful but fading garden.
There was a fiber artist who came by to interact with the students.
