Whether the weather cooperates or no… September 1 brings my favorite decor, colors, sights, and smells to my home.
The beautiful time of autumn. I know we are about 16 days away from “real autumn” but who’s counting? Not me… that is for sure. Because the weather around here has been utterly delightful. Cooler temperatures.
Windows and doors open.
Lower power bills. 😉
I love this time of year.
I have a few friends who always ask me to make sure I post my seasonal decor. Oftentimes it is the same thing, maybe just a little different arrangement, or place. But each year I look forward to setting it out and enjoying the change of seasons and scenery in my home.
A little project my Mom thought up. She painted a wooden board and wanted to write Happy Fall Y’all on it, but my writing is poor, so I thought vinyl would be best. I helped her with the vinyl letters, jute and sunflowers. I think it’s adorable.
This is our goofball dog, Tyson. He found one of the pumpkins that we grew in the garden and picked it when the boys went out to pick some for me. It’s his “ball”. I told you he was a goofball.
I love the fresh start to learning as well…. it seems everything has a clean slate when the house is clean and it’s a brand new year of learning. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this time of year?
