Jars of Light

Chas · December 10, 2015 ·

I love to add touches of simple beauty around my home. My home is definitely not minimalistic. I like too many things. I don’t have a lot of storage and so much of my extras are exposed. That’s ok by me… I just want to keep it homey and tidy. (a hard task at times)
My rosemary is still gorgeous in the garden and I have a massive bag of cranberries, so I thought I would make a few jars of light.
Super easy, you can look at it and figure it I’m sure, but here’s what I did.
I take a clean mason jar and fill the bottom 3/4 with rosemary. You can leave some longer than others, but probably snipping them from 2-4 inches each works pretty well.
Then fill your jar with water till it is about 3/4 full. Add cranberries and then a votive nestled down inside the cranberries.
Done and done.
I love candlelight and the red and green is so festive and beautiful.
Make your Christmas Merry.
