As I embark on our 12th year of homeschooling, I am blown away.
It is rather emotional for me this year, my kids are big.
They are growing up so rapidly, that I am very aware that they are moments from being grown.
I question myself constantly…
Am I doing enough?
Are they learning to be strong in the faith?
Are they going to be ready for the world?
Thankfully, The Lord is good to calm my doubts and my fears.
He quietens my heart and I feel His words whisper to my fretting spirit, Philippians 1:6
“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”
It is no small task to teach, train, and attempt to raise children. All we can do is pray and devote ourselves and our children to the Lord and claim His power to work through us.
I am wanting to savor these moments. To enjoy each day with these precious beings that The Lord has placed in my care. What a privilege to be Moma, Teacher, and Friend.
