Christmas Crafting 2011

Chas · December 9, 2011 ·

I am sure you have seen Martha’s No Knit Scarf floating around the internet. Well, let me tell you… it was so much fun! I made one this morning while the kids were doing their independent lessons and it was a pleasure. Just like making those friendship bracelets that we used to make… remember? 🙂 Just like that… only HUGE!

I taped it right down the center of our school table and the children sat around the edges as normal. It was nice.

Here’s a lovely mannequin modeling the finished project.

Here’s a frumpy Moma modeling a closer up view of the finished scarf.

I love how it turned out and I think it will make a nice Christmas  I mean, birthday present for one of my sweet friends today!

Hope you enjoy your weekend.
16 days til Christmas!!!

Merry, Merry!

****And when she says start with 140 inches in length… start with at least 140 inches. I did and I really wish I had went with 160-180. It turned out slightly shorter than I would have liked.
