D is for—–

Chas · August 5, 2011 ·

If there is one D word that describes me, it is…

Determined– I am determined. I always have been. If I get something in my mind I am bound and determined to do it! (I wonder where my youngest gets it? *blush*) I have been this way since I was a child. I think it is a good quality, but like my youngest son, it can get him in trouble sometimes.

Dedicated– I am dedicated to my family. I love them dearly and I eagerly serve them and care for them. I hope that one day when the children have children of their own this dedication will be remembered and embraced in their lives.

Dork– Such a weird word. Like I said yesterday, I am a bit of a goof-ball so dork fits, and that’s ok.

Domestic– I love home and family! I am an advocate to restore family time, family values and the love of home. I want my family to see that if we don’t have this, then we are missing out.

Deliberate– I have a purpose! I want to live my life deliberately and not just think we are here for no reason,  we each have a distinct purpose and we need to live it out.

Daring– As a young girl and young woman, I was VERY daring. I would try just about anything. Roller-coasters, bungee jumping, *I wanted to sky-dive, but never got the chance*… I loved adventure and thrills. I still enjoy thrill seeking, but I have to say, I am MUCH, MUCH more timid than I used to be. I guess realizing I have 5 people who depend on me daily makes this Moma a bit more tame! 🙂
