Barnyard Business

Chas · April 13, 2011 · Leave a Comment

The barnyard is busy with the sights and sounds of spring!
Here are some of the scenes as we take a stroll after morning chores.

Rocky… after giving us a scare TWICE, he is now a healthy happy little buckling. Such a cutie too!

Rachel is doing very well. Grazing and bleating are her hobbies. J

Our best ‘setter’ Mama hen is watching over a clutch full of eggs, we are hoping for a great many to hatch! J

The proud Papa, Lt. Dan is strutting his way around the homestead watching over all his ladies.

And when I get close enough, this is the what we see. The little goats gathering close to Moma Chas.

Dearest Chas. I am sooooo very happy to share that we finally have raised beds. We have 3 of them, each 6' x l6'. Do I hear a WoooHooo!
Yes, I believe that I just heard you join me in my joy. Thank you, I know you shared yours ever so long ago. We are really excited about planting this year. I gaze out my window and sigh with complete bliss. Love your posts and your pictures are precious. Your farm is certainly growing. May The Lords face continue to shine upon you dear Lady.
