To Catch a Chicken:

Chas · February 4, 2011 · Leave a Comment

We are blessed with animals around the homestead lately… and with the spring-like weather we had for a few days, it was nice to get out and be outside with them for a bit longer than a quick chore time.

Carlie is troubled because she has yet to catch a chicken on her own. Cameo is the official ‘chicken wrangler’ of the farm. She is excellent, very quick and smart!
So Cameo caught Henrietta for us to have a photo op. Carlie was excited.

Eli wanted to hold her too, it was funny to watch.

He decides to let Carlie have her…
To which, Carlie is pleased.

And then she shares with Moma…

To which we were all pleased. 🙂
