One of my favorite things about homeschooling is that learning, indeed, happens ANYWHERE and ANYTIME! I see it all around us, and I am blessed by watching.
A couple weeks back we were paid a visit by our piano tuner.
He is a sweet, sweet guy and was eager to answer all of my little ones questions and was such a kind teacher.
My pictures are from my phone, so the clarity isn’t great, but you get the idea.
He had them captivated.
It was a great lesson.
He asked Abram if learning about how to tune a piano made him want to be a piano tuner when he grew up and Abram replied… “I’m gonna work with my bachines (machines).”
Mr. Marshall didn’t win him over, haha 🙂
One thing I thought was precious was, Mr. Marshall was talking with my kids and said, “Did you all know that you are blessings from The Lord?”
To which my children replied, “Yes Sir! That’s what our Moma and Daddy says!”
He smiled and said, “You don’t hear that often enough”
I agree.

I love the incidental learning times. They really show that they are learning, listening, and growing each moment.
