Keeping things tidy in Winter

Chas · December 17, 2010 · Leave a Comment

Nowadays, we can’t do our chores without bundling up.
Scarves, gloves, mufflers, toboggans and the like.
It can cause a big mess inside if I don’t keep it under control.
I decided to use our picnic basket to keep things tidy.
Placing it close to the front door makes a perfect place to drop off all the outerwear that can so easily become scattered.

And once we are all back in snug and cozy. The clutter has been tucked away until we decide to brave the cold again.

May your day be Merry!

That's a great idea! I'm struggling with the very same thing this year, and I might implement your idea. Thanks.

Great idea! And it looks cute, too. We don't have that problem, but I might use the idea to corral flip flops in the summer… 🙂

It's hard to keep all that winter gear in order, even if you live in a not so wintery place. Needing it twice a year causes its own problems! It doesn't seem worth keeping it….but on those rare cold days, mittens sure are nice. I like to *box* stuff up too. Even better, a picnic basket.
