I begin projects .all.the.time.
I try my best to finish things that I start, but sometimes, they sit in my basket for months… years!
*blush*
*gasp*
Sadly, it is true.
BUT!
I have good news for you my friends, today is NOT one of those days, for today you are going to see a FINISHED project!
Tada!
My piano bench cover.
I started it sometime around the first of the year, and here it is 8! months later actually in use.
It is FAR from perfect, and no… I didn’t use a pattern.
I just made 15 granny squares in 3 rows of 5, stitched them together and then stitched around the whole thing.
It is made up of scraps from my yarn stash… which is awesome, it cost me NADA! And, I really love crochet and knitting, I love it because you can tote it anywhere. If we are all in the living room, it goes with me… if we go to the park, it can go with me.
Once it was big enough, I ran a thin piece of elastic around the bottom so it would be snug on the bench.
It must be, because as you know I have four young ones and that is a hot spot in our house. 🙂
I hope you have a beautiful day!
xoxo
