Friday afternoon we were out inviting people to VBS and on the side of the road we see this lonely duck just wandering around wwaaayyyy to close to the road.
When we came back through and there he was still there, in my mind I said,
I’m gonna get that duck
and then Shannon said,
Why don’t you catch it?
I stopped the car and jumped out and headed straight toward it…
Shannon hollared at me and said,
Are you REALLY gonna try and catch it?
Of course I am!
And with Cameo’s help, we did.
He put up no fight at all.
And now he is at home, here with us and safe from being ran over.
