Homeschool Field Trip: Old Timer's Day

There is a local family that we met through our new homeschool co-op. They have been putting on this little get-together called "Old Timer's Day" for several years now. This was the first time we had heard about it, and our first year to participate.
It was a lot of fun, although it was a hot day.
Abe got this really cool balloon animal octopus.
Wooly worms walking through the fields. Will we have snow this winter, Mr. Wooly Worm??? I sure hope so!

They had several activities the kids could try.
There was a beautiful but fading garden.
There was a fiber artist who came by to interact with the students.
And her precious little goat... Olivia!
Carlie made a corn-husk doll.
The boys made corn-cob pipes.

It's always a fun time to be with friends.
