A sunflowery gift

Over the weekend, I was blessed with such a surprise. I signed up for a Pay-It-Forward handmade gift exchange a few months back. My first gift was given on Saturday.
Lemme show you! :)

Isn't it lovely?
It is an appliqued sunflower. Her Uncle built a frame and she attached the quilted block on to the frame. It is so beautiful and it looks perfect in my home.
What was especially sweet is that she told me she browsed my blog to find something that I would like.
Such a blessing.
Thank you, Teresa! You made my day!

My Cup Runneth Over...

  1. That is so beautiful and SO YOU! What a blessing. :)

  2. I'm so glad you like it AND that you found a pretty yellow wall to put it on! :O)

  3. Hey Chas!! I recognized those little faces on your banner immediately--though they do look a bit older than when I used to follow you. Remember me from 'A Homestead Daughter' back on HSB? Never mind if you don't--I'm so pleasantly surprised to find you here!! You're the 3rd person I've found to have migrated from the HSB over here to blogspot in the last week. How fun is that? Seems like a lot of folks migrated over when HSB switched over to wordpress. Anyway, I'll definitely be following you again--your blog is always so cheery and full of life! :) God bless you abundantly today!
